Bob Bonner-Davis

Bob Bonner-Davis serves as the Chief Public Information Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin, where he has overseen public information requests since December 2015. He currently leads the University's Open Records Department under the Office of the Vice President for Legal Affairs.

Prior to his role at UT Austin, Mr. Bonner-Davis managed public information requests for the Texas Department of Insurance within the Office of Agency Counsel and for Governor Rick Perry in the General Counsel Division. He began his legal career in 2008 as a drafting attorney in the Open Records Division of the Texas Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Bonner-Davis holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
